Efficient hydrogen fuel cell with air-cooled PEM technology
The EFOY Hydrogen 5.0 Fuel Cell uses air-cooled PEM (Proton Exchange Membrane) fuel cell technology to efficiently convert hydrogen and oxygen into reliable direct current (DC) energy. The Fuel Cell Unit combines powerful DC/DC converters with essential balance-of-plant components such as valves and fans that precisely control the energy flow. The integrated air system provides optimal temperature control while ensuring a continuous supply of oxygen to ensure the fuel cell’s high efficiency and longevity.

Controller Unit for intelligent control and monitoring
The EFOY Hydrogen 5.0 Controller takes over the central control and monitoring of all system components. It regulates the power supply, voltage distribution and power control to ensure efficient and stable operation. The parallel connection of up to 12 modular EFOY Hydrogen 5.0 fuel cell systems enables a total output of up to 60 kW. Through precise measurements of voltage, current, pressures and temperatures, it enables continuous optimization of operating parameters, ensuring maximum efficiency, safety and longevity of the system.

Capacitors for short-term, high-performance energy storage
The EFOY Hydrogen 5.0 UltraCap ensures an uninterruptible power supply by immediately providing backup power for the consumer if the primary power supply fails. It thus bridges the time until the fuel cell module has reached its full power and ensures that the full power requirement of up to 5.0 kW is reliably covered. With an impressive service life of around one million charging and discharging cycles, the UltraCap offers maximum reliability and durability for critical applications.
