EFOY ProShelter Hybrid systems are designed to provide approximately 12-18 months of autonomy as required, making them ideal for long term autonomous deployments.  The rugged, purpose-built EFOY ProShelter integrates EFOY Pro fuel cells in a 6” insulated wall C-Can enclosure, which includes fuel cartridges, battery bank, solar charge controllers, power distribution panel and room for integrating customer equipment inside the panel or on the walls. They are optimized for ultra reliable performance in the harshest winter conditions. All of our energy solutions performance is monitored through cold chamber testing and the EFOY ProShelter is rated to -40° C. Fuel and cost savings for a sustainable future: The EFOY Pro Shelter is 10 times more efficient than a diesel genset and delivers 30 – 50% total cost ownership savings over alternative off-grid technologies.

EFOY ProShelter Hybrid technology:

  • EFOY Fuel Cells convert methanol into electricity through a single-stage catalytic conversion process. They continuously and automatically recharge batteries.
  • When a solar array fails to deliver enough power, the EFOY(s) automatically switches on to ensure the battery bank is charged. Once completed, the fuel cell(s) returns to standby mode.
  • EFOY Pro Fuel Cells support Modbus TCP or EFOY Cloud communications allowing operators to monitor and control the system remotely.
