The VI Brick AC Front End module provides a convenient and innovative solution for today’s demanding power applications. These modules provide a complete AC-DC pcb mounted solution in a robust brick package. Power design is greatly simplified due to the integrated filtering, rectification, and transient protection. The module incorporates active power factor correction (PFC) and operates over a wide input range between 85 and 264 Vac, providing a regulated and isolated 48 Vdc output with power up to 330 W. The high efficiency of the module and VI Brick package provide a simplified means to thermally manage the power system.
