Power Semiconductor – FlexiCP
Murata Power Semiconductor achieves an innovative power conversion with proprietary virtually loss-less charge pump technology.
It’s unique power architecture enables to use small inductors as well as low voltage FETs for whole power rail to provide system level benefits as shown in the following.
- Ultra-high efficiency with small footprint and low profile
- Low input/output ripple
- Low EMI performance
- High reliablity

The PE252xx series of Ultra-High Efficiency, Capacitor Divider products is based on Murata’s proprietary adiabatic or lossless charge pump technology.
The technology is ideally suited to provide “Lossless” step-down voltage conversion for intermediate bus system to support downstream Point-of-Load and enable highest level efficiency.
The IC’s are based on integrated charge pump control architecture with integrated FETs and capable of connecting in parallel to scale to high power system requirements.

- Open Loop – Vout tracks Vin
- Vout is a fixed ratio of Vin (i.e. ÷2, ÷3, ÷4, or ×2, ×3, ×4, etc.)
- Several ratios possible within one part (e.g. ÷2, ÷3)
- Efficiency remains approximately the same irrespective of ratio (≈97%)
- Phase interleaved and soft switching with low ripple/EMI/noise
- Inherently parallelable
