Country Sales Manager for Czech Republic and Slovakia

Vitec Power, headquartered in Austria, has been supporting the electronics industry in Central and Eastern Europe for more than 30 years with products from high-quality manufacturers of power supplies, transport lighting, fuel cells, relays, etc. Due to repositioning in the market and great extensions of our product line we are looking for a dedicated and motivated person for the position of a Country Sales Manager for Czech Republic and Slovakia driving the business into the future to become #1 supplier for CZ/SK in the power supply and industrial electronic market.



– Education: engineer in electronics
– Sales experience for at least 2-3 years
– Knowledge of local electronic industry
– Languages: Czech/Slovak and excellent English
– Willingness to travel in average 3 days a week
– Act from Home-Office or a small public office
– Location: The office location can be anywhere in the sales area
(Previously the sales area was supported by a rep office from Brno)
– The position can be filled as an employee of a rep office or as a free agent.



Run the Rep-Office as authorized manager
– Handle administrative issues (bank, local authorities, etc.)
– Cooperate with tax consultant

Maintain and enlarge the existing business and customer base
– Customer visits on a regularly base (min. 3 days a week)
– Search for new opportunities/projects
– Search for new customers

Technical Support
– Select solutions within existing supplier portfolio
– Develop solution together with customer
– Stay in close contact with suppliers to track projects

Commercial Activities
– Price settings
– Prepare and send quotations
– Negotiate purchasing prices with suppliers
– Negotiate terms and conditions with customers
– Track regularly open projects

Marketing Activities
– Analyze local market and demands
– Develop and implement local marketing activities
– support of the marketing team with the content of the local homepage
– Plan customer presentations
